Chef Supervisor / Head Chef | Regional WA Villages | 14/7 or 8/6 FIFO

About the Role
ESS, the remote-site brand of Compass Group Australia, is hiring Chef Supervisors and Head Chefs for its mining villages across regional Western Australia. You fly in and out of Perth (drive-in drive-out is also available) on a 14/7 or 8/6 roster and take charge of a busy village kitchen feeding a remote workforce.

Key Responsibilities
- Run day-to-day kitchen operations and keep food quality, safety and service to a high standard
- Lead, roster and mentor your kitchen team
- Plan menus that suit a diverse workforce living away from home
- Manage stock, minimise waste and keep the kitchen running cost-effectively
- Work with site stakeholders to keep improving the dining experience

About You
- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or a trade certificate
- At least five years in a commercial kitchen, ideally high-volume or bulk catering
- Confident computer skills for planning and reporting
- Full Australian working rights
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening, and national police check
