Entry Level FIFO Jobs

Entry level on this board means the employer has said they will take people without previous mining experience. That is rarer than the internet makes it sound, so when a listing says it, it is worth acting on. The roles that come up most are entry level underground miners, camp utilities and cleaners, trades assistants, and operator traineeships.

What employers still want

No experience does not mean no requirements. Nearly every entry level FIFO role asks for a manual driver's licence, a police clearance, and the ability to pass a pre-employment medical with a drug and alcohol screen. Physical fitness matters because the shifts are twelve hours. A white card, a working at heights ticket or a first aid certificate help but are usually not required at this level.
