About the Role

28 Villages, part of Compass Group, is hiring Utility Attendants for its village teams. Full time roles run on a 2 weeks on, 1 week off FIFO roster flying from Perth Airport, and casual roles are also available. You will support residents who live and work away from home. If you have hospitality experience or transferable skills and a positive attitude, this can be a first step into FIFO. No FIFO experience is needed, as full training and support are provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Housekeeping and cleaning of accommodation rooms
  • Helping in kitchens and dining areas, including food prep and food handling
  • Cleaning mine site offices, crib rooms and ablution blocks
  • Customer service in village taverns or retail shops
  • General maintenance and cleaning of shared outdoor and common areas

About You

  • Currently living in Western Australia, as only WA residents can be considered
  • Friendly and service minded, with hospitality experience or a willingness to learn
  • National Police Check dated within the last 6 months, or willing to obtain one
  • Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
  • Able to work up to 12 hour shifts in remote conditions, including day and night rotations
  • Flexible across service areas, with a strong team mindset
  • Australian working rights, with a WA driver's licence preferred
