Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate construction engineering activities so work follows approved designs and specifications
- Give technical advice to project teams and subcontractors
- Help with planning, programming and forecasting
- Track and report on progress, compliance, performance and risk
- Support cost control, estimating and budget monitoring
- Check subcontractor claims and variations against the contract
- Keep project documents and drawing registers in order
- Carry out safety, environmental and quality assessments
- Help prepare methodologies, work packs, reports and tender documents
About You
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, building construction, science or a related field
- At least 3 to 5 years as a Site Engineer or Project Engineer on construction, infrastructure, rail or civil projects
- Sound knowledge of engineering standards, specifications, and safety and quality systems
- Experience with planning, progress reporting, forecasting and cost control
- Good communication and stakeholder skills
- Confident with Microsoft Office and project software such as Primavera P6
- Rail construction, signalling or communications experience is highly regarded
