No Experience FIFO Jobs

-

Every job on this page carries a statement from the employer that mining experience is not needed. That is the only reason a job is tagged this way. It is not a guess and it is not an agency promise, it is what the employer wrote in their own advertisement.

The honest picture

The roles that genuinely take people from outside the industry are camp jobs, where hospitality, cleaning or retail experience counts; utility and labouring roles on site; entry level underground miner programs that train you from scratch; and driver roles if you already hold a heavy rigid licence. Trades and operator jobs almost always want the ticket or the experience, so they will not appear here even when they are advertised as "willing to train" on a machine you already know.

What gets you over the line

A manual licence, a clean police check, passing the medical, and being able to start on a roster at short notice. Employers filling entry level roles often want people who can fly out within a couple of weeks. Having your own boots and a white card shows you are serious.

The entry level page overlaps with this one. The hospitality page and the cleaning page have the camp roles.
