FIFO Cleaning Jobs
Cleaning is the largest single job family in the villages. Facilities attendants and cleaners turn over the rooms between swings, clean the common areas, dining rooms and wet mess, and keep the site offices and crib rooms up to standard. Cleaning supervisors run the teams. The village operators hire directly and in numbers.
What employers ask for
No qualification. Employers want a police clearance, a medical with a drug and alcohol screen, fitness for a full shift on your feet, and often a manual licence. Commercial cleaning or housekeeping experience is preferred. Cleaning supervisor roles want experience running a team and some familiarity with cleaning audit systems.
