FIFO Truck Driver Jobs

-

Truck driving on a mine site is different from the pit. This page covers the drivers who hold a heavy rigid, heavy combination or multi combination licence and drive service trucks, water carts, fuel trucks, tilt trays, road trains and project haulage on and around the site. Haul truck operators in the pit are on the plant operator page.

What employers ask for

The licence class the role needs, HR, HC or MC, with time behind the wheel on that class. A dangerous goods licence for fuel and explosives, a forklift ticket for loading, and a water cart or service truck RII unit are common asks. A clean driving record, a police clearance and the medical are standard. Some roles in Queensland want a Standard 11.

Who has listed here

GenusPlus Group has listed HC truck drivers for a mine site power project in WA on a 2:1 roster from Perth. The village operators hire drivers for airport transfers and supply runs, and Sodexo has listed airport attendants who need an HR licence.

Haul truck and plant roles are on the plant operator page.
