Fenix Resources is building new teams for its FIFO road haulage operation in Western Australia's Mid West and needs experienced Road Train Operators. You fly in from Perth to Fenix operations across the region and haul iron ore in modern quad side tipper road trains. The roster is 6 days, 6 nights, then 6 days off, on 12 hour shifts. Your first site depends on operational needs, with scope to move across the business as it grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Haul iron ore safely between Fenix mine sites and the logistics network
- Operate Volvo FH16 prime movers pulling Bruce Rock ultra quad side tippers
- Carry out pre-start checks and report defects
- Follow site and road safety rules on every shift
About You
- A current Australian MC driver's licence
- Experience driving triple road trains or larger combinations, which is essential
- A proven safe driving record
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Able to pass a commercial driver's medical
- A current National Police Clearance, or willing to get one before starting
