About the Role
Emeco is hiring an experienced Heavy Diesel Technician for its crew at the Prominent Hill copper and gold mine in South Australia. The roster is 2/2, working 7 days and 7 nights then 14 days off, with FIFO from any Australian capital city. Full-time and casual options are both available.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventative maintenance, diagnostics and major repairs on heavy earthmoving equipment
- Keep a fleet that includes a Liebherr 9350, CAT 993 loader, CAT 785C, 785D and 777F haul trucks and a CAT D10T dozer available and production ready
- Find and fix faults safely and efficiently
- Take pride in the quality of your workmanship
About You
- Heavy Diesel trade qualification (Certificate III)
- Strong diagnostic and fault finding skills
- Experience on heavy earthmoving equipment, with mining experience highly regarded
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screen and police check
- Full Australian working rights
