Operations Supervisor | Barrow Island | 2/2 FIFO

About the Role

Cleanaway is hiring a permanent full time Operations Supervisor based on Barrow Island off the Pilbara coast of Western Australia. The role works a 2/2 FIFO roster from Perth, with shifts from 5:30am to 5pm. You will lead the waste services crew on the island and make sure waste is collected, sorted, transported and disposed of safely and within environmental requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise waste driver operators and allocate daily work
• Coordinate waste collection, segregation, transport and disposal in line with environmental rules
• Make sure pre-start checks and routine vehicle maintenance are completed
• Run toolbox talks and risk assessments
• Manage crew rosters and leave
• Verify operator competencies and keep waste manifests and reports accurate

About You

• An HR driver's licence (essential)
• A Dangerous Goods licence (essential)
• A forklift licence, or willingness to obtain one
• At least two years of supervisory experience
• Eligibility for a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)
• Good computer skills
