Physiotherapist FIFO Jobs

Some of the larger mining operations employ physiotherapists and exercise physiologists on site as part of their injury prevention program. The work is early intervention: treating strains before they become injuries, running manual handling and warm-up programs, assessing workstations and cab setups, and supporting return to work.

What employers ask for

AHPRA registration as a physiotherapist, or ESSA accreditation for exercise physiologists. Occupational health experience is preferred and some employers want experience with pre-employment functional assessments. You will be working alongside the site medical team, so a manual driver's licence and the ability to pass the same medical as everyone else apply.

Rosters

These roles typically run 8/6 or 2:1 from Perth, Brisbane or Adelaide, with the camp and meals covered on swing. They are advertised far less often than nursing or medic roles, so this page will be empty for stretches.
