Our client is a 100% Aboriginal-owned provider specialising in surface mining and earthworks. They have the largest privately owned fleet of surface miners and trenchers in Australia, catering to mining, renewable energy, and earthworks projects nationwide.
TAILINGS DAM EXPIRENCE REQUIRED!
Position: Project Manager
Location: Karara
Commencement: ASAP
Roster: 8 days on, 6 days off OR 2 weeks on, 1 week off
Duration: 6 months opportunity to extend
Pay rates: $100 - $130ph based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of surface mining and earthworks projects.
- Coordinate project teams, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project success.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in project management within the mining or earthworks industry (minimum 5-7 years in a similar role).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of surface mining and earthworks processes.
- Understanding of safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications preferred.
