Underground Entry Level Miner | Olympic Dam | 7/7 FIFO

About the Role
No mining experience needed. BHP is recruiting entry-level underground miners for Olympic Dam in South Australia on a 7/7 lifestyle roster (7 days on, 7 off, 7 nights on, 7 off) of rotating 12-hour shifts. The role is FIFO with on-site village accommodation, and BHP trains you from the ground up in one of the world's largest underground mines. Applications close 18 September 2026, so apply now.

Key Responsibilities
- Operating mining equipment including manual Landcruisers, trucks and rock breakers
- Installing and maintaining underground infrastructure
- Supporting production activities in a dynamic underground environment
- Physically demanding tasks including working at heights, always to BHP's safety standards

About You
- At least 2 years' work experience in any industry
- Valid driver's licence and able to drive a manual vehicle
- Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn
- Able to adapt to shift work and time away from home
