MARS Recruitment is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Superintendent on behalf of a well-regarded organisation in the Australian mining sector. This is a FIFO opportunity from Perth on an 8:6 roster, ideal for a motivated supply chain leader ready to step into an autonomous and operationally focused role.
The Opportunity
This position is responsible for overseeing and improving supply chain functions on site, including:
- Leading inventory control, warehouse operations, and procurement coordination
- Streamlining processes and ensuring alignment with company procedures and governance standards
- Collaborating with operational leaders to anticipate and meet materials and logistics requirements
- Monitoring usage and spend data, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
- Supporting procurement strategies in line with broader business objectives
- Upholding compliance requirements across storage, safety, and supplier interactions
You'll be part of a collaborative and outcome-driven team that values practical leadership and a hands-on approach.
About You
You're a confident and experienced supply chain professional with the ability to engage cross-functionally and lead site-based teams. Your natural strengths lie in identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring operational continuity in fast-paced environments.

- Prior leadership experience across warehousing, inventory, or site logistics
- Exposure to procurement and contract administration
- A process-driven mindset with the ability to implement systems and standards
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Pronto, SAP, or similar) and Excel
- A background in mining, energy, construction, or a similarly structured industrial environment
Formal qualifications in supply chain, logistics, or business will be highly regarded but are not essential.
