Gold Road Personnel are a West Perth based company, specialising in recruitment within the Mining & Resources sector.

On behalf on one of our clients, a highly respected blasting services company, we are seeking experienced Supervisors (blasting servcies) on a permanent basis to work on projects throughout the Pilbara and Goldfields Region.

About the Role

As the Site Supervisor, you will be required to manage the day-to-day operations across all functional areas for a mine site.
  
The responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to;
  

  • Supervise daily site operations, including workforce scheduling, team coaching and mentoring, and cost control to achieve agreed customer targets
  • Coordinate with maintenance providers to ensure effective maintenance scheduling and timely completion of unplanned maintenance
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure stock is properly controlled and accounted for
  • Communicate production objectives, performance, and outcomes to management.
  • Ensure product application is carried out in accordance with legislative requirements, industry standards, and relevant safety and technical specifications
  • Assist the Operations Manager with site cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting


Requirements to be considered for the role

  • 3 or more years of management experience
  • Basic Computer Skills (Microsoft Office suite and corporate systems)
  • WHS Statutory Superviors Qualifications (BSBWHS414, BSBWHS411 & record of examination)  
  • G2 Implementation of Risk Management
  • Possess a valid manual HR Licence
  • Valid WA Security Clearance
  • Sound knowledge of dangerous goods and explosives legislation
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Shotfirer Licence and relevant experience (desirable)
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
  • QA auditing level
  • Have or be willing to obtain a National Police Clearance
  • Be willing to undergo a Pre Employment Medical & DAS
