Programmed Energy & Resources seeking an experienced Shut / Maintenance Coordinator to join our team on a 3-month FIFO contract (8:6 roster). This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced shutdown environments and has a strong background in coordinating maintenance activities across site operations.

Role Details:

  • Roster: 8 days on / 6 days off
  • Duration: 3-month (potential for extension)
  • Location: FIFO from Perth to Goldfields
  • Start: Immediate or as soon as possible

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule planned shutdown and maintenance activities
  • Liaise with site supervisors, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution
  • Manage work packs, permits, and maintenance documentation
  • Track progress and report on maintenance performance and compliance
  • Support planning teams to optimise future shutdown schedules

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in shutdown or maintenance coordination within mining, resources or heavy industry
  • Strong understanding of safety, planning, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and handle competing priorities
  • Proficiency in maintenance systems (e.g. SAP, Pronto or similar)

Role Requirements:

  • Australian Trade Background
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Ability to pass a heavy medical & drug / alcohol screening
  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Ability to complete online inductions
