Pump Fitter

• Permanent from $75 to $80 or ($90 to $100 casual) dependent on experience
• 8n6 dayshift only roster
• Fortnightly pay

About the role:

• Complete breakdown, preventative and predictive maintenance on a range of pumps and fixed plant equipment.
• Strip, rebuild, install and commission pumps to OEM standards
• Conduct routine inspections and provide accurate condition reporting of dewatering infrastructure.
• Support Supervisors and Planners with feedback, planning improvements.
• Develop JSAs, WPIs and ensure all work meets WHS and site compliance
• Assist with plant commissioning and reliability improvement projects.
• Have the ability to prioritise work tasks
• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
• Mig and Tig welding skills

Requirements for the role:

• Reference contact details of two past employers
• Have the right to work in Australia
• Mechanical Fitter Trade qualification (desired)
• Own Tools (Specialist tools supplied) 
• C class driver’s license
• Minimum 1 year experience U/g in similar role
• Must be able to pass pre-employment medical to include Drug and Alcohol screening
• National Police Clearance within the last 6 months is required for this role
