High Voltage Electrician | Cape Preston | 2:2 FIFO

About the Role

MACA, a Thiess company, is recruiting High Voltage Electricians for its Projects Maintenance team at the Sino Iron operation at Cape Preston, around 100 km south-west of Karratha in WA's Pilbara. The role is FIFO on a 2:2 roster (two weeks on, two weeks off), with full-time and casual positions available and a $3,000 sign-on bonus on offer.

Key Responsibilities

- Preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on heavy earthmoving fleet, including Liebherr 9800 excavators and haul trucks

- Fault-finding and servicing of high voltage and GE drive systems

- Working safely as part of a site-based projects maintenance crew

About You

- Current WA A Grade Electrical Licence

- Minimum 2 years' experience maintaining heavy mining fleet

- CPR, LVR and First Aid training

- White Card and a valid driver's licence

- Exposure to GE drive systems is preferred
