Utility roles 

We have multiple roles available, each with specific criteria’s, working across various functions to support our operational needs. We’ll work to match your skills with the most suitable department, ensuring you can thrive and make the most of your potential in a role that truly fits.

• Housekeeping: Maintain and clean accommodation rooms to ensure high standards of comfort
• Mine Site Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness and safety across offices, crib rooms, and communal spaces
• Kitchen/dining: Assist with food preparation, serving, and maintaining the dining area
• Retail/ Tavern: Providing customer service and serving alcohol in the tavern and retail shop

Line Chefs

We are looking for enthusiastic and creative FIFO chefs! Assist the kitchen team in bulk preparation and cookery for the various meals and functions that happen at the village during your swing. 

• Experience in bulk and batch cookery in large groups and knowledge of HACCP Principles. 
• Positive attitude with attention to detail
  
   

Hospitality Supervisor roles

Overseeing cleaning operations, managing staff, maintaining high standards, and ensuring safety and efficiency across all cleaning tasks. Prior experience as hospitality supervisor in a large hotel, restaurant or FIFO role is highly valued and greatly preferred. 
The roles include:

• Housekeeping Supervisor
• Dining room Supervisor
• Mine site cleaning Supervisor
• Retail/Tavern Supervisor

What’s in it for you?

• Fly-in/Fly-out from Adelaide airport with 2 weeks on and 1 week off roster for utility and chef roles, and 8 days on and 6 days off for Hospitality Supervisor roles (day & night shift) with accommodation, buffet meals provided
• Utility: With a base salary starting from $82,745 + super on all rostered hours worked and for Casual at $37.50 per hour
  Chefs: With a base salary starting from $105,028 + super on all rostered hours worked
• Fortnightly pay with equalised hours between pays – no more big pay/small pay cycle!
• $2.87 extra loading per hour on any hours worked 8pm to 5am (Monday – Friday)

Essential requirements:

• Willing to provide a National Police Clearance less than 6 months old for all roles
• Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or Trades certificate for all Chef roles 
• Valid Driver's license – SA Manual C class preferred (more opportunities available for those with a Manual C Class License)
• Ability to fly from Adelaide 
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug screening for all roles
• Willing to complete required company and site inductions for all roles
• Relevant tickets for the position you are applying for LF forklift for stores, RSA (Responsible Service Alcohol) for Tavern, Barista Certs
• Australian or NZ Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident for all Supervisor roles
