DRILLING ASSISTANTS / OFFSIDERS

Hagstrom Drilling is a family-owned Drilling Company that has been operating across Australasia for over thirty years! 

Due to internal promotion of existing staff and significant new long-term projects we are recruiting Drilling Offsiders (inexperienced and/or experienced) to work with our existing team on projects nationwide.  

ABOUT THE JOB

We currently have several full-time permanent and casual FIFO or DIDO roles on a 2/1 roster from Perth. You will be working as part of a great team on 12-hour shifts on work sites within Western Australia. 

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• HR-B Truck Drivers License or above (essential) - automatic licenses not accepted.
• Current First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)
• National Police Clearance (dated within 6 months or willing to obtain)
• White Card (or willing to obtain)
• 4WD Certificate (or willing to obtain)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen
• Currently reside in Western Australia (WA). Regional applicants welcomed. 

ABOUT YOU

• Previous offsiding experience an advantage
• Working at Heights (preferred)
• “LF” class high risk Forklift License (preferred) 
• Mechanical, farming, practical and Trade skills an advantage
• Able to work in remote areas and in challenging weather conditions, subject to operational/roster requirements
• Physically fit and experienced with manual labour tasks
• Strong OHS awareness and work ethic
• Ability to work in a team environment
