Northern Territory FIFO Jobs
The Northern Territory has a small but steady FIFO workforce. Gold in the Tanami, manganese at Groote Eylandt, bauxite at Gove, the McArthur River zinc mine and a string of smaller gold and lithium projects all fly crews in, mostly from Darwin and Alice Springs, with some rosters staffed from Perth, Brisbane and Cairns.

Camp operators are the most regular NT advertisers on this board. Sodexo has listed hospitality and utility workers for remote sites ex Darwin on a 14:7 roster. Mine roles in the Tanami and at Gove appear on their own town pages when they are live.
Getting in
NT sites use the metalliferous induction rather than a coal ticket. Camp roles need a police check and medical. Remote NT sites are hot and wet for half the year, and many run 14:7 or 2:1 rosters to keep charter costs down. If you are based in Darwin, camp and hospitality work is the fastest way in.
