Processing Trainer | Davyhurst | 8:6 FIFO

About the Role
Ora Banda Mining is hiring a Processing Trainer for its Davyhurst gold processing plant in Western Australia's eastern Goldfields. The role is permanent and full-time on an 8:6 roster, FIFO from Perth or bus-in bus-out from Kalgoorlie. You will join the site health, safety and training team and own the training of everyone who operates or maintains the processing plant, at a time when the company is building a new plant and opening a new underground mine as part of its push to 300,000 ounces a year. Key Responsibilities
- Train new and existing personnel to operate the processing plant safely and efficiently
- Make sure processing and maintenance activities follow the mine safety management system and established training processes
- Help develop and run toolbox meetings, safe work procedures and processes
- Deliver induction training, including authority to drive, for employees and contractors
- Develop and review training packages for process plant activities
- Maintain the training database and records, and manage relationships with external training providers and RTOs

About You
- Competent process operator across all stages of gold processing, including process controls and gold room
- Two or more years as a process plant trainer, preferably in gold
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 minimum)
- Experience with training management software such as InTuition, and strong computer skills
- Proven ability to manage training contractors and employees, with a team-building approach
- C class manual driver's licence
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening and criminal history check, with proof of right to work in Australia
