Process / Paste Plant Operator | Kathleen Valley | 8/6 and 7/7 FIFO

About the Role
Liontown Resources has two permanent operator openings at its Kathleen Valley lithium operation in Western Australia's northern Goldfields, Australia's first underground lithium mine with the largest paste plant in the southern hemisphere. Both roles are FIFO from Perth: a Process/Paste Plant Operator on the crew roster (8/6 and 7/7), and a Process Operator on day services (8/6 days). Posted 13 September 2026.

Key Responsibilities
- Crew role: operate crushing, grinding, flotation, filtration and control room areas of the plant
- Crew role: run the paste plant to quality and density targets, monitor and adjust process parameters
- Crew role: take part in shutdowns and permit-controlled work, and report defects and improvement ideas
- Day services role: look after the tailings storage facility, including inspections and monitoring
- Day services role: operate the water treatment plant and reagent area, and run routine inspections and small maintenance projects
- Both roles: operate mobile and fixed plant safely

About You
- One to two years or more in a processing plant; paste plant experience is highly valued
- Safety-focused with strong communication skills
- Working knowledge of permits and isolations
- Mobile plant tickets are desirable
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and police check
