HVAC / Refrigeration Technician | Remote WA Villages | 14:14 or 14:7 FIFO

About the Role
DeltaFM, the facilities maintenance brand of Compass Group Australia, is hiring casual HVAC and refrigeration technicians for its remote site villages across Western Australia. The work is day-shift FIFO from designated airports (DIDO where it fits) on 14:14 or 14:7 rosters, keeping the refrigeration and air conditioning that serves accommodation, kitchens, dining rooms and village infrastructure running. It suits a qualified tradesperson who wants flexible, well-paid casual work with half the year at home.

Key Responsibilities
- Preventative and reactive maintenance on commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems
- Fault-finding, troubleshooting and safe, efficient repairs
- Inspections, servicing and performance testing of cool rooms, freezers, split systems and package units
- Responding to breakdowns and maintenance requests within agreed timeframes
- Working alongside electrical, plumbing and maintenance trades and following site safety procedures and industry regulations
- Taking part in on-call and call-out arrangements where applicable

About You
- Refrigeration and air conditioning trade qualification with a current Refrigerant Handling Licence and ARCtick Refrigerant Trading Authorisation
- White Card and current C class driver's licence
- National Police Clearance within 12 months, or willing to obtain one
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
- Remote camp, facilities maintenance, commercial or industrial experience is highly regarded
- Able to work FIFO from designated airports or DIDO where applicable
