Sodexo is looking for an experienced, safety-focused Electrician to maintain accommodation village facilities for its mining clients in Queensland. The role is full-time, FIFO from Townsville on a 2:1 roster, and suits a tradesperson with a facilities maintenance background who likes variety across preventive and reactive work.
Key Responsibilities
- Preventive and reactive electrical maintenance across village accommodation, kitchens and common facilities
- Fault-finding and repairs to domestic and commercial electrical systems
- Keeping work safe, compliant and well documented
- Working flexibly as part of the site maintenance team with a focus on service delivery
About You
- Electrical trade qualification and relevant certificates
- Maintenance experience in a mining camp village, school, hospital or similar setting with varied preventive and reactive work is ideal
- Team player with a can-do attitude and a strong safety focus
- Australian citizenship or full Australian working rights
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and background checks
