Civeo is hiring a hands-on Appliance Technician for Coppabella Village, a large workforce accommodation site in Queensland's Bowen Basin. The roster is 7 days on, 7 days off, with FIFO available from Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney or Melbourne, or DIDO with a $7,000 incentive depending on where you live. You will keep the village's commercial kitchen, laundry and general appliances running so residents have a safe, comfortable stay. Permanent, full-time.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out reactive, planned and preventative maintenance on village appliances
- Diagnose and repair faults across electrical and mechanical systems
- Repair and replace motors, elements, switches, belts and other components
- Install and upgrade appliances and associated electrical infrastructure
- Complete work orders, keep accurate maintenance records and liaise with contractors and suppliers
- Work to safety and legislative requirements at all times
About You
- Current Queensland open or unrestricted electrical licence (essential)
- Current manual C class driver's licence
- Experience repairing and maintaining commercial appliances, with strong fault-finding skills
- Previous FIFO, DIDO or remote site experience
- Organised, proactive and safety-first, and comfortable in a fast-paced remote site
- Desirable: Restricted Electrical Licence (Refrigeration), First Aid/CPR/LVR, Working at Heights and Confined Space
