About the Role
Barminco, part of the Perenti Group, is hiring a Water Cart Operator for its underground mining operations, with openings at several sites across Western Australia. FIFO and DIDO options are available across a range of locations, and various rosters are on offer, so check which site and roster apply when you speak with the recruitment team. Key Responsibilities
- Operate the water truck and other equipment safely
- Start up, operate and shut down the machine correctly
- Follow directions from supervisors on where to work
- Fill the tank and spray water in designated areas
- Monitor vehicle performance, fluid levels and mechanical condition
About You
- Previous experience as a Water Cart Operator in underground mining
- Strong understanding of underground mining processes and safety standards
- Able to work well in a team and follow detailed mine plans
- Able to pass a medical assessment and drug and alcohol screening
- Valid National Police Clearance
- Proof of working rights in Australia
