About the Role
Greatland is looking for a Registered Nurse or Paramedic to join the health team at its Telfer-Havieron operations in Western Australia's East Pilbara. This is a permanent job on an 8/6 FIFO roster, reporting to the Senior Advisor, Health. You would run the site medical clinic and provide treatment, health monitoring and emergency care.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily clinic operations and monitor workforce health
- Respond to emergencies across operational areas and access roads, assessing, triaging and stabilising patients
- Coordinate medical evacuations with the Royal Flying Doctor Service and other providers
- Take part in health surveillance, drug and alcohol testing and fitness for work assessments
- Review pre-employment medical results and make recommendations
- Keep accurate clinical records and complete compliance reporting
- Keep medical supplies and equipment stocked and compliant
- Train and mentor Emergency Response Team members
About You
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or paramedical science
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
- At least 5 years of post-graduate clinical experience
- Experience in on-road ambulance services or emergency departments
- Mining, industrial, occupational or remote health experience
- Current Advanced Life Support and CPR certification
- HLTPAT005 Drugs of Abuse Testing qualification
- Current manual C class driver's licence and National Police Clearance
- Immunisation, spirometry or audiometric certificates and 4WD experience are highly regarded
- Full medical assessment and evidence of Australian work rights are required
