Warehouse Operator | Daunia near Moranbah | FIFO/DIDO

About the Role

Whitehaven Coal is hiring a Warehouse Operator at the Daunia open cut metallurgical coal mine, southeast of Moranbah in Queensland's Bowen Basin. Whitehaven offers FIFO from Brisbane, DIDO or local residential arrangements for the role. The ad does not state a roster or a closing date. You will keep maintenance and mining teams supplied with the right parts, using SAP S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, store and issue materials, including picking parts for scheduled, breakdown and shutdown work
• Record goods receipts, issues, bin transfers and stocktakes in SAP S/4HANA
• Coordinate inbound and outbound freight and expedite critical parts
• Work with maintenance, operations and supply teams on stock availability
• Keep the warehouse safe and tidy and run its equipment safely

About You

• Experience in a mining, warehouse, logistics or heavy industry setting, ideally open cut coal
• SAP S/4HANA experience in a warehouse or supply chain role
• A current LF high risk work licence, coal board medical, Standard 11 and Queensland driver licence
• Experience with goods receipting, inventory control and heavy freight
