About the Role
ISS is looking for an experienced Village Services Team Leader to run the day-to-day utility services at one of its mining villages in South Australia. The role works a 14 days on, 14 days off roster, flying in and out of Adelaide Airport. Reporting to the Village Manager, you will lead the housekeeping and catering utility teams and set the standard for a clean, comfortable village and a friendly, inclusive crew.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead housekeeping and catering utility teams across rooms, the diner, tavern, public areas, site operations and admin areas
- Keep cleanliness and guest comfort standards high and review them regularly
- Make sure health and safety, hygiene, environmental and quality standards are met
- Respond to guest and client complaints
- Help manage the department budget and keep materials and equipment supplied
- Build a team that works with trust and accountability
About You
- Solid housekeeping or hospitality experience with proven leadership
- A customer service mindset and strong communication
- Strong focus on safety and good decision making
- FIFO mine site cleaning experience is desirable
- Approved Manager certification and a current RSA
- An unrestricted C class driver's licence and a police clearance less than 12 months old
- Able to pass pre-employment medical and background checks
