About the Role
ISS is hiring experienced infrastructure and inground plumbers for the Roy Hill Mine Village in WA's Pilbara. The role works an 8/6 roster of 12-hour days, flying from Perth Airport to site. You will look after the village's below-ground potable water and sewerage networks, keeping services running for residents with as little disruption as possible. The work is physical and remote, so good fitness and resilience matter.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain and repair below-ground water and sewer infrastructure across the village
- Carry out daily leak inspections
- Lead fault finding and repairs
- Coordinate with the client and outside specialists
- Keep work compliant with WA plumbing legislation and site HSE rules, and complete the paperwork
About You
- WA Plumbing Tradesperson Licence at minimum
- Certificate IV in Plumbing Operations or equivalent
- Poly welding competency and confined space entry certification
- Experience maintaining underground water or sewer networks, ideally in remote or mining settings
- Remote village maintenance, RO plant and digital work management experience are a plus
- A current C class manual licence
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen

- $135,000 to $140,000 a year plus super
- Possible eligibility for two pre-tax retention bonuses a year of up to $4,000, subject to ISS criteria
