About the Role

Evolution Mining is hiring an Underground Service Crew Operator for its Mungari Operations, west of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia's Goldfields. The role runs on a 7 days on, 7 days off roster and can be worked FIFO from Perth, with village accommodation on site, or as a residential position based in Kalgoorlie with local living allowances. You will report to the Underground Shift Supervisor and keep the underground services and ventilation network in step with development and production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain underground services and ventilation infrastructure
  • Install and remove secondary ventilation fans and build ventilation walls
  • Install, grout, plate and tension cable bolts
  • Support development and production work across the mine, including nipper and truck duties
  • Complete pre-start checks on underground mobile equipment and keep work areas tidy and safe
  • Work with mining, maintenance, technical services and geology teams

About You

  • At least 6 months of underground service crew experience with current RPLs
  • At least 2 years of underground mining experience
  • Current Australian C class driver's licence
  • Working at Heights certification
  • Able to obtain a current National Police Clearance
  • A strong safety focus, a team attitude and an interest in building an underground career
