About the Role
Gold Fields wants an Underground Production Coordinator (Foreperson) at its Granny Smith gold mine near Laverton. This is a permanent position on an 8/6 even time roster, FIFO from Perth. Reporting to the Unit Manager Underground Mining, you will coordinate daily production against the mine plan and lead the underground production supervisors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor underground production supervisors and their crews
- Coordinate production planning and drive performance against the mine plan
- Keep work compliant with safety standards, procedures and statutory requirements
- Find and put in place continuous improvement ideas
- Work closely with technical services, maintenance, contractors and business partners
About You
- Leadership experience in underground gold mining at coordinator, foreperson or supervisor level
- A strong grasp of underground mining methods and production cycles
- A WA Underground Statutory Supervisor's Certificate including Schedule 26
- A manual C class driver's licence and a WA Dangerous Goods Security Card
- Good planning, communication and decision making, plus working skills in Word and Excel
