Underground Mine Surveyor | Kathleen Valley | 8/6 FIFO

About the Role

Liontown is recruiting Underground Mine Surveyors for its Kathleen Valley lithium operation in Western Australia's northern Goldfields. This is a permanent, full-time, site-based position on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth, staying at the company's Dragonfly Village. You will report to the Senior Mine Surveyor as the underground mine continues its ramp-up to full production.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out all underground survey work needed for safe and efficient mining
• Complete survey calculations and keep survey data accurate and up to date
• Report survey results on time to the mining team
• Work as part of the underground mining department through the production ramp-up
• Work within Australian mining safety and environmental standards

About You

• A tertiary qualification in surveying, or equivalent experience
• A Grade 1 or 2 Authorised Mine Surveyor's Certificate is welcome but not essential
• Experience with GNSS, RPAS, total stations and laser scanners
• Experience with mine planning software such as Deswik, Vulcan or Surpac
• A C Class manual licence
• Good judgement under pressure and clear communication
• A National Police Clearance from the last six months, or the ability to get one
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
