Underground HD Fitter | Agnew near Leinster | 8/6 and 7/7 FIFO

Gold Fields is looking for an experienced Underground HD Fitter to join the Mobile Maintenance team at Agnew Gold Mine, near Leinster in Western Australia. The permanent role runs on a roster of 8 days on and 6 off on day shift, rotating to 7 nights on and 7 off. Agnew is a FIFO operation with a direct one-hour flight from Perth, and day shift crews land back in Perth around 4pm. Agnew runs two underground mines with more than ten years of mine life in view, and the site is investing to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned maintenance schedules on the underground mobile fleet
- Complete daily equipment inspections and record findings
- Diagnose and repair breakdowns to keep loaders, trucks and drills available
- Work on Epiroc, CAT, Sandvik and Volvo underground equipment
- Follow site safety systems and keep the workshop in good order
About You
- Australian recognised heavy mechanical trade qualification
- Proven record with PM schedules, inspections and corrective maintenance
- Hands-on experience with underground mining equipment
- High risk licences for forklift, EWP and basic rigging and dogging
- Valid manual WA driver's licence or Australian equivalent
- Automotive air conditioning licence and SAP experience are a plus
