About the Role
Macmahon is hiring Tyre Fitters for its surface mining operation at the Tropicana gold project in Western Australia's Great Victoria Desert. The role works a 2/1 roster across day and night shifts, flying in and out of Perth or Kalgoorlie. You will look after tyres on the heavy earthmoving fleet and work as part of the site maintenance crew that keeps the equipment safe and available.
Key Responsibilities
- Fit, change and maintain tyres on heavy mobile equipment in an open-cut mine
- Carry out servicing to OEM standards and site procedures
- Help keep equipment available, reliable and safe to operate
- Plan work with the production and maintenance planning teams
- Speak up on safety and support the crew around you
About You
- Certificate II in Tyre Fitting
- Experience fitting tyres on heavy mobile equipment, ideally in surface mining
- A team player who can step up when needed
- A strong commitment to safe work and quality workmanship
