About the Role
WesTrac's Newman branch is hiring a full-time Storeperson to work on a customer mine site in the Pilbara on a FIFO basis. The roster is 8 days on and 6 days off, with 12-hour days that include a meal break. You will report to the Newman Branch Manager and keep parts moving to the customer, from hose building through to picking, packing and despatch. Hose building training is part of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Build hydraulic hoses for customer equipment
- Interpret parts requests accurately and process customer orders
- Pick, pack and despatch parts orders
- Carry out general warehousing duties on site
- Look after customers and help them find the right parts
About You
- Experience in a similar warehouse or parts interpreting role
- Familiar with a warehouse management system such as SAP or DBS
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Office, and clear communication
- Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
- A High Risk Work Licence is desirable
