About the Role

CITIC Pacific Mining is hiring a Trainer, Compliance and Standards for its Learning and Development team at the Sino Iron operation near Cape Preston on the Pilbara coast. This permanent full-time role works 8 days on and 6 days off, fly-in fly-out from Perth. You will report to the Superintendent, Training and Development and help run the site's professional development, compliance and technical training. Applications close on 28 November 2026, and shortlisting starts straight away.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver national units of competency plus health, safety and quality control training to employees and contractors
  • Plan and schedule compliance training to meet operational and regulatory needs
  • Manage competency evidence records in line with the Australian Qualifications Training Framework
  • Track and report on training delivery and review how well programs work
  • Keep training records in line with department procedures and the partner RTO
  • Support relationships with external training vendors

About You

  • TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (essential)
  • Experience in the resources sector, an RTO or a learning and development role
  • Experience leading training in a technical, high risk environment
  • Working at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Testing, and LV Rescue, with at least five years of industry experience
  • Knowledge of VET qualifications, with fixed and mobile plant experience a plus
  • Current WA manual driver's licence (essential)
  • Senior First Aid and SuccessFactors LMS experience are beneficial
