Fire Technician | Chevron Wheatstone near Onslow | 2/2 FIFO

About the Role

Downer is hiring a Fire Technician for the Chevron Wheatstone site near Onslow in the Pilbara, Western Australia. This is a full-time permanent role on a 2:2 lifestyle roster with 12 hour day shifts, fly-in fly-out from Perth Airport. You will look after the fire detection and protection systems across the accommodation village, permanent buildings and site offices, along with general electrical work on lighting, switchboards and control systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on fire detection and fire protection systems
• Inspect, test, fault find and repair fire systems across the village, buildings and offices
• Maintain lighting, switchboards and control systems
• Work safely to site procedures in a live operating environment

About You

• WA A Grade electrical licence
• Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing
• Current CPR, low voltage rescue and first aid
• WA driver's licence and a White Card
• EWP high risk work licence
• Working at Heights completed within the last two years
• An MSIC and an EAHL are desirable
