About the Role
Catalyst Metals is hiring a permanent full-time Shutdown Planner for the Plutonic Gold Mine in the Eastern Gascoyne region of Western Australia. The role is on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth and reports to the Maintenance Superintendent. You will plan and coordinate shutdowns of the processing plant and its infrastructure so they run safely, on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain shutdown scopes, work packs and schedules
- Line up labour, contractors, equipment, materials and specialist services
- Work with Operations, Maintenance and Supply Chain on access, isolations and return to service
- Review backlogs, inspection findings and statutory work to prioritise shutdown jobs
- Support budgeting and cost control and report progress and risks
- Run post-shutdown reviews and capture improvements
About You
- Shutdown planning experience in mining, mineral processing or heavy industry
- Solid knowledge of fixed plant maintenance
- Able to build scopes, resource estimates and detailed schedules
- Pronto or a similar CMMS, plus Microsoft Project or Primavera
- Strong contractor and stakeholder management skills
- A trade or engineering qualification is highly regarded
