About the Role
CITIC Pacific Mining wants experienced Face Shovel Operators for the Mine Production team at Sino Iron, about 100 km south west of Karratha. The role is on a 2/1 roster across days and nights, FIFO from Perth to Cape Preston. Applications close on 7 November 2026 and shortlisting has already started.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CAT 6090 and Terex RH400 hydraulic face shovels in the 1,000 tonne class
- Operate other large excavators of 200 tonnes and up
- Load haul trucks safely and efficiently to meet production targets
- Communicate clearly with the pit crew and work independently on shift
About You
- Proven experience on large hydraulic face shovels (400t and above) and big excavators (200t and above)
- Current Australian driver's licence, manual preferred
- Restricted Quarry Manager certificate or First Aid certificate highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of surface mining
