Serviceperson | Beebyn-W11 near Cue | 2/1 FIFO
MACAAbout the Role
MACA is looking for a Serviceperson to join the maintenance team at Beebyn W11, an open pit iron ore mine about 710km north-east of Perth and roughly 70km from Cue in the Murchison region of Western Australia. MACA runs the mining services at the site for owner Fenix Resources. The role is FIFO on a 2/1 roster of 7 days, 7 nights and 7 days off. Full-time and casual rates are both available. The site fleet includes a Komatsu PC1250 excavator, Komatsu HD785-7 dump trucks, a CAT D9T dozer and a CAT 16H grader.
Key Responsibilities
- Service heavy mobile mining equipment across the Komatsu and CAT fleet
- Operate equipment when needed for maintenance and inspections
- Monitor plant and equipment condition and report oil and fuel leaks
- Keep oil, grease and fuel stocks topped up
- Follow work health and safety procedures on every job
About You
- Previous mine site experience as a serviceperson
- A current HR driver licence (essential)
- Experience servicing heavy mobile equipment such as Komatsu and CAT
- Good communication skills and the drive to work on your own
- A sound understanding of work health and safety procedures
