Service Attendant - Housekeeping, Kitchen, Hospitality | Regional QLD ex Cairns | 14:7 FIFO

About the Role
Sodexo is recruiting hospitality and cleaning all-rounders (Service Attendants) for its mining village operations in regional Queensland. The roles fly in and out of Cairns (bus-in bus-out is also available) on a 14:7 roster with 11-hour days. Casual and permanent positions are on offer, and high performers in casual roles can move to permanent. Prior FIFO experience is desirable but not essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Housekeeping and cleaning of accommodation rooms, up to 30 rooms a day
- Cleaning and maintaining mine site offices, outdoor areas and common areas
- Supporting kitchen and dining room operations, including basic food handling and preparation
- Friendly customer service in the on-site tavern or retail shop
- Keeping kitchen hygiene and food safety standards up

About You
- Australian driver's licence
- Physically fit for shifts of up to 11 hours in remote conditions and varying weather
- Hospitality or cleaning experience; FIFO, DIDO or remote site experience is desirable but not essential
- Works well in a team and on your own
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
- Full Australian working rights
