About the Role
Civeo is looking for a permanent full-time Refrigeration Technician at Coppabella Village in Queensland's Bowen Basin, about two hours inland from Mackay. The role runs on a 7/7 roster. FIFO is available from Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Sydney or Melbourne, and local candidates can work DIDO, which comes with an extra $7,000 a year incentive paid fortnightly. Key Responsibilities
- Carry out reactive, planned and preventative maintenance on refrigeration and air conditioning
- Look after cold rooms, ducted air conditioning and heat pump hot water systems
- Keep village facilities safe, compliant and running smoothly
- Work on your own to find and fix faults
About You
- Refrigeration mechanic trade qualification
- Current QBCC licence and refrigerant handling licence
- Restricted electrical licence for refrigeration and air conditioning
- C class manual driver licence
- At least two years of experience with refrigeration and cold rooms
- Accommodation, hospitality or facilities experience is ideal
- Able to pass a national police clearance and a pre-employment medical
