About the Role
Fortescue's Christmas Creek mine in the Pilbara needs a Refrigeration Technician for its Non-Process Infrastructure team. The roster is 7 days on, 7 days off, with FIFO from Perth, Busselton, Broome, Karratha, Port Hedland, Fitzroy Crossing or Kununurra. Most of the work is preventative maintenance, HVAC cleaning and ice machine servicing across camp facilities, offices, workshops and village buildings.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair refrigeration and air conditioning systems
- Carry out preventative maintenance across non-process infrastructure
- Clean HVAC units and service ice machines
- Diagnose and fix refrigeration and HVAC faults, and install and commission new equipment
- Complete inspections and compliance testing, and keep maintenance records and work orders up to date
About You
- Refrigeration and air conditioning trade qualification
- Current refrigerant handling licence (ARCtick)
- WA electrical workers licence or a recognised equivalent
- Commitment to safe work and site standards
