About the Role
WesTrac is hiring a Product Support Advisor for the Caterpillar fleet at the Marandoo mining operation in the Pilbara, near Tom Price. The role is FIFO from Perth on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster working 12 hour shifts, and sits alongside the site maintenance team keeping machines available and reliable.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support across the Cat equipment fleet on site
- Carry out equipment inspections and reliability assessments
- Support diagnostics and troubleshooting when machines go down
- Champion preventative maintenance and continuous improvement work
- Coordinate component replacements and handle warranty administration
- Build the customer relationship and keep stakeholders informed
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
About You
- Australian recognised Mobile Plant trade certificate
- Background in mining or field service
- Diagnostic expertise on Caterpillar equipment
- Experience supporting a large fleet
- Proactive, reliability focused mindset
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
- Australian working rights
