Process Technician | Sunrise Dam or Tropicana | 8/6 FIFO

About the Role

AngloGold Ashanti Australia is hiring Process Technicians for its Sunrise Dam and Tropicana gold mines in Western Australia's Goldfields. These are permanent full-time roles worked FIFO on an 8/6 roster. You will keep the processing plant running so that gold recovery and throughput stay on target, working to set procedures while using your own judgment in a plant that runs with a high degree of autonomy. Key Responsibilities

• Operate the processing plant to meet gold recovery, throughput and resource targets
• Follow operating procedures and make sound calls when conditions change
• Work with the metallurgy and maintenance teams on safety and technical issues
• Monitor plant performance through sampling, analysis, inspections and log keeping
• Identify, report and help fix equipment faults

About You

• Proven experience in a mineral processing plant, ideally gold
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a practical approach to problem solving
• Current WA C class driver licence
• Comfortable working outdoors in hot and cold conditions
• Clear communicator who works well in a team
• Microsoft Office and SCADA experience is a bonus
