About the Role
Catalyst Metals is hiring a Planning Engineer for its Plutonic Gold Mine in Western Australia's Eastern Gascoyne. The role is full-time on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth and reports to the Planning Superintendent. You will produce short and medium term underground mine designs and schedules and keep the planning data the operation relies on accurate. No closing date is shown.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare short to medium term mine designs, including development mining instructions, stope notes and area plans
- Keep mine planning data and evaluation tools accurate and current
- Produce site infrastructure designs and integrated schedules
- Work closely with geology, geotechnical and operations teams
About You
- Degree in mining or geotechnical engineering, or a similar field
- Underground mine planning experience in mechanised hard rock mining
- Exposure to ventilation, infrastructure and geotechnical work
- Skilled in Deswik CAD and Scheduler, and Ventsim
- WA First Class Mine Manager's certificate, or able to obtain one
- WA C class driver licence
