Open Pit Surveyor | Mungari near Kalgoorlie | 8/6 FIFO/DIDO

About the Role

Evolution Mining is growing the survey team at its Mungari gold operation near Kalgoorlie and has created a new Open Pit Surveyor role. You will report to the Senior Surveyor and work an 8/6 roster of 12 hour day shifts. Mungari offers FIFO and DIDO arrangements, or you can live locally in Kalgoorlie with live-local incentives. The role suits an experienced mine surveyor after a better roster, and also early career surveyors or graduates who want to build a long-term mining career.

Key Responsibilities

• Set out drill patterns, pit designs and other operational survey work accurately
• Delineate ore zones and provide production survey support
• Maintain survey control networks, digital mine models and mine plans
• Deliver end-of-month reporting and stockpile reconciliation
• Help bring in modern survey technology, including aerial and drone survey

About You

• Diploma or degree in surveying
• Mine surveying experience, ideally in an open pit operation (graduates and early career surveyors are welcome to apply)
• Sound grasp of survey principles, control and field practice
• High attention to detail and care for data accuracy
• Good communication with operational and technical teams
• Current C class driver licence
