About the Role

ISS Facility Services is hiring an experienced HSE Advisor, also described as an HSEQ Lead, to drive health, safety, environment and quality performance on its remote site operations. The role is fly-in fly-out from Perth Airport on an 8:6 roster and supports high risk operational work. Reporting to the HSE Manager, you will run and improve the HSE management system, lead incident investigations, and make sure the site meets legal, client and ISS requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and enforce ISS and client HSE policies, procedures and legal obligations
  • Implement, audit and improve the HSE management system and site HSE plans
  • Build and review risk documents such as hazard registers, SWPs, SOPs, JHAs and training plans
  • Manage incidents, including high potential investigations, corrective actions and return to work programs
  • Prepare weekly and monthly HSE reports and track induction, training and competency compliance
  • Run toolbox talks, safety meetings and safety leadership initiatives with site teams

About You

  • Certificate IV in WHS or a higher qualification
  • Proven WHS or HSE experience in resources, construction, facilities management or manufacturing
  • Lead ICAM Investigator certification and experience investigating serious incidents
  • Working knowledge of state WHS and environmental law and of ISO 9001, 45001 and 14001
  • Strong reporting skills and confidence with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • An unrestricted C class driver's licence and the ability to pass a medical and background checks
